- Traveled to field installations in Nebraska and Ontario to troubleshoot the PC-based control systems of a family of panel processing machines. Designed and installed upgrades to solve problems that were identified. Also provided documentation and training for client’s personnel to install the upgrades in other installations.
- Traveled to Indiana and Wisconsin to install custom panel-processing machines. Also trained local personnel to operate and maintain the machines.
- Re-wrote legacy control software for a family of machine tools, in order to upgrade the operating system from Windows 3.1 to Windows 7.
- Designed various mechanical sub assemblies for a manufacturer of industrial panel saws.
- Designed, built and installed PLC based controls for industrial panel saws.
- Troubleshoot and repair 1950's vintage machinery controlled by relay logic.
