EVC: What/How?
What:
- Evaluate a design before it goes into production.
- Sort out the mystery problems that show up when software meets hardware for the first time.
- Take a design from concept through component selection to documentation and production support. Provide end-user support.
- Integrate the design so the power, electronic, mechanical and pneumatic systems fit in the box and work well together without getting overheated.
- Circuit design and board layout. Integrate the board layout into the mechanical design, including wrapping the board around the mechanical or pneumatic components.
- Design manual or automatic production assembly or test equipment, and write operator procedures that an operator can actually use.
- The ability to use a level of technology that is appropriate to the product or application. (Keep It Simple...)
